Born and raised North Carolinian Joseph A. Cina “Joe” has always had a desire to serve his community and has for over 2 decades. Joe believes in God, family, and community service. Joe is a graduate of UNCW with a B.A. in Criminal Justice, raising 3 amazing children in Pender County, and an exemplar of community service. Joe is known for his constant desire to serve all of us in Pender County by creating a safe and strong conservative environment for his family and yours.
Joe has served the citizens of the Cape Fear Region in numerous capacities over the last 2 decades. Recently Joe resigned as a NC Probation Parole Officer in order to focus on his political aspirations in Pender County. Joe served in the NC Law Enforcement Industry since the late 90s earning the highest achievement possible in NC; the Advanced Law Enforcement certification. Former Chairman of the Pender County Tourism Board promoting healthy growth throughout our community, a former member of the ABC Board distributing quarterly profits throughout Pender County and its municipalities, and an active member of the Cape Fear Fair and Expo Board bringing safe family fun and excitement to the Port City every year for over a decade. Joe is also a former member of the Pender County Juvenile Crime and Prevention Committee utilizing resources to serve our communities children. Joe actively continues to serve as a proud member of the Coastal Rotary Club volunteering countless hours throughout the years giving back to our community. Joe is commonly known as Coach Joe throughout our community volunteering and teaching football and basketball year round installing qualities of discipline and leadership into our children. Joe has also taken on the role as a Substitute Teacher right here in our Pender County Schools working with all of our children.
Joe believes in the constitution above all and will fight to defend the rights bestowed upon all of us. Joe is a life time member of the National Rifle Association and a proud Concealed Carry Permit holder in NC. A Former NC Law Enforcement Firearms instructor for a decade training 100s of our community’s protectors over the years. In fact, all 3 of Joe’s children are also lifetime members of the National Rifle Association and possess their NC Lifetime Fishing and Hunting licenses.
It is time to put Pender First and Joe is willing to fight to protect all of our constitutional rights entrusted upon all of us equally.
